What is Supervision?
UKCP describe supervision to be a formal process in which a qualified or trainee psychotherapist or other mental health professionals regularly presents their clinical work as a way of enhancing their practice through careful reflection on the process. The main purpose of supervision is to ensure the efficacy of the practitioner's clinical work which, in turn, will enable them to work towards the best possible practice for their clients.

I use an integrative approach to supervision drawing from psychodynamic theory, the arts and the latest research into relational neurobiology. I also draw from the seven eyed model of supervision, as described by Hawkins & Shohet.

This depends on a range of factors, including the supervisee's needs, their level of experience and their regulatory bodies requirements. At the initial consultation, a supervisory contract can be negotiated.I can offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly slots.
