Training days are tailored to support the specific needs of teachers and/or other professionals working with children. They are designed to be informal, easily accessible and interactive.
Every training is underpinned by the latest research from the child & adolescent mental health field. Training sessions can be held during an after school staff meeting or as part of an inset day. Sessions can last between an hour and half a day depending on the needs and values of each individual school.
I have provided a range of inset day training to professionals within the education sector. Some recent trainings I have run include:-
What is Attachment Theory?
An introduction to Attachment theory
- What is it?
- Understanding what this means for children biologically; drawing from the latest research in neuroscience.
- What might trigger a child's attachment behaviours?
The Invisible Classroom - Attachment in the classroom
- Understanding how each attachment style may present itself within a classroom context.
- Strategies to support children's learning based on their unique attachment patterns.
I am also happy to also tailor a bespoke training session to suit the individual needs of your staff team. If you are interested in discussing this further, please get in touch.
